November 19, 2009 by mphil3How to travel cheap during the Holidays
November 18, 2009 by mphil3The Holiday season typically runs from Thanksgiving to after New Years among Americans. Here are some steps to keep the money in your wallet.
- Fly Unconventional-Booking a flight two weeks before Christmas rather than two weeks after can save you HUNDREDS!!!$$$
- Book flights in advance-Thanksgiving and Christmas are the most expensive times to travel no matter what;but try booking two seasons in advance if possible.
- Buy Travelers Insurance-With many cancelled flights and delays it is much less stressful to deal with when you have insurance.
- Drive Instead of Fly-As a result to this recession many havent had the option to fly,so the next best thing is to drive.

So after getting tons of e-mails on Travel & Tourism, I have done lots of reading about that! I have noticed some trends of on the rise and some decreasing. Though some are becoming more popular, many are becoming less expensive and extravagent. More traveling is done with families as opposed to business trips.
Here is a link that shows some travel trends from 2008!

Traveling & Touring!!!
November 2, 2009 by mphil3My partner Justin and I are working on a project with Travel&Tourism in today’s current economy. The hospitality industry has taken a major hit with todays economy due to decrease in travel. The amount of families has decreased significantly since 2006. Not only has this impacted vacationers but it has also impacted resorts and places that bank on touriusm dollars. Although many are showing struggle with the economy they plan to come back “Stronger than Ever”.
Below are a few websites that have information on this topic and give a little insight!
